The 'Roof Rack Platform' or 'Van Roof Deck Crawl Board' is constructed from 18mm Phenol Impregnated Birch Plywood, with a heavy duty Mesh pattern finish to the face side. This mesh pattern provides a good degree of anti-slip properties and the phenol impregnation provides full weatherproofing. The face edges are protected by an aluminium edging strip to all four sides. Utilising the fixings supplied, the 'Platform' can be easily drilled to fit any of the Van Gadgets range of roof racks - gallery racks and ladder racks. If using this platform on vans over 2m in height, you should ensure that all applicable working height regulations are complied with.
